Amos Kaggwa is a seasoned Ugandan safari guide, wildlife photographer and conservationist with a deep passion for East Africa’s natural heritage. Based in Kampala, he operates across Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya, offering immersive wildlife experiences.
His journey into guiding began in 2018 after earning a diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management from the Tourism Institute of East Africa, followed by specialized training in field guiding and birding.
Amos blends storytelling, ecological knowledge and photography to create unforgettable safaris. His expertise spans birdwatching, nature interpretation and 4×4 driving, making him a versatile guide for diverse traveler interests.
Beyond guiding, Amos is the founder of Kitonzi Children’s Village, a community initiative supporting education and welfare for children in rural Uganda. His work reflects a commitment to both conservation and community upliftment, making him a respected figure in East African tourism – and someone we’re proud to work.
